One person is dead and four people were seriously injured following a multiple-vehicle collision near Haleiwa.
According to officials, the crash happened at about 3:30 p.m.
An Emergency Medical Services spokesperson says four patients were transported to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
Honolulu police have shut down Kamehameha Highway between Haleiwa Town and Kamananui Road while they conduct their investigation.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
