A Kaneohe man was sentenced to ten years in prison for trying to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
46-year-old Douglas Lopez was charged with electronic enticement of a child.
Lopez worked as lunch supervisor at a windward Oahu elementary school when he was arrested in May.
"I’d like to say sorry to the victims family and for the pain and suffering that I caused and for my family and friends for the pain and suffering that I caused and I would take the responsibility for my actions," Lopez said.
Lopez must also register as a sex offender.
