A 19-year-old man was allegedly driving under the influence when he crashed his car into a police car on the North Shore Monday morning.
The crash was on Kamehameha Highway by the Haleiwa Bypass Road at about 2 a.m.
Authorities say officers were escorting a convoy transporting wind turbines.
One of the officers drove in front of the convoy to help direct oncoming traffic.
