Two men accused of stealing personal information by using what’s known as credit card skimmers at gas stations have been found guilty of identity theft.
Akop Changryan and Karapet Kalantryan face a mandatory sentence of 20 years for the crime.
The two men set up the skimmers at several gas stations around Oahu and stole personal information from nearly 200 people.
Prosecutors say the two men deserve to be put away for a long time.
"These individuals are part of an organized known criminal organization in Los Angeles known as "Armenian Power," and they have a history of doing this in particular the Southern California area," Deputy Prosecutor Chris Van Marter said.
The defense attorney says he will appeal the verdict.
Prosecutors say the two men stole more than $150,000.
