The 26th legislative session kicks off at 10 a.m.
And as in the two previous years, there will be little pomp and circumstance.
Festivities have been scaled back because of the slow economic recovery, so there will be no entertainment or guests on the chamber floor.
Speeches will also be limited, so lawmakers say they can get to work immediately.
