27-year-old allegedly robs man at gunpoint then drives through pedestrian mall

Police arrested a 27-year-old man after witnesses reported seeing him drive at a high rate of speed through a pedestrian mall in Chinatown Saturday morning.

It happened around 10:30 a.m.

Witnesses told police the suspect had a handgun when he finally stopped and exited the vehicle.

According to police, suspect had allegedly robbed another man at gunpoint prior to driving through the mall.

Police located the man outside of the mall and arrested him for several firearms charges and first degree robbery.
