3 dogs die in two-alarm house fire in Waianae

Black smoke billowed into the sky Wednesday evening as firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in Waianae. Flames burned through a single story residential structure on Helelua Street just after 6 p.m. HFD officials says two residents who were home at the time were able to narrowly escape after they smelled smoke.
