510 pounds of illegal fireworks collected at Waipahu buyback event

The Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement and its partners today collected 510 pounds in illegal fireworks — with nearly 10% of those to be used by professionals only — during a fireworks amnesty event held in Waipahu.
