An elderly woman died Monday after she was hit by a car on Hawaii Island.
She was identified as 92-year-old Tamiko Fujio of Hilo.
Police say she was walking to her car on Kamana Street when she was hit by a car that was reversing.
Fujio died at the hospital.
Speed, drugs or alcohol don’t appear to be factors in this accident.
Police have opened a negligent homicide case.
