A water main break on Auiki Street off of Nimitz Highway in Kalihi has forced the closure of Libby Street from Kahai Street to Auiki Street.
Board of Water Supply crews are responding to the 8-inch main break at 1602 Auiki Street that was reported shortly before 1 a.m.
A water wagon has been set up at the corner of Libby and Kahai Streets for the one business and one home that will be without water service until repair is completed.
The 8-inch main was installed in 1938.
