A suspected drunk driver who fled the scene of a crash was the target of a car chase from Keeaumoku into Waikiki this morning. Police were called out to Ena road at about 4 a.m. That’s where two drivers crashed in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store. Invesitgators say it started on Keeaumoku Street after a bar patron backed up into another car and then fled. The driver of that car gave chase all the way into Waikiki where the two eventually tried to turn onto the same street and crashed into a pole. Police arrested one person for driving under the influence. No serious injuries were reported.
