Hawaii’s Most Wanted: Solomon Luke

On this edition of Hawaii’s Most Wanted we feature a man who’s wanted in connection with a purse snatching case and a drug case.

Honolulu police are looking for Solomon Luke.

"On September 12, 2008 at about 10:30 p.m., the victim and her husband were walking along Ala Moana Boulevard, near Hawaii Prince Hotel, when they were approached by an unidentified male. The male approached them, grabbed the woman’s purse and tried to flee. The husband intervened, a struggle ensued and the male fled," says Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.

Police found Luke and arrested him for robbery.

Last year, in February, Luke was arrested at Kahala Mall for having drugs and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

He’s now wanted on two $50,000 warrants for not showing up to court for his status review hearing in July.

Solomon Luke is 22 years old, 5’10", 173 pounds.

"And it’s unknown where he frequents, but he does have eight prior convictions which include robbery, drugs, open lewdness, disorderly," Buffett says.

If you know where Solomon Luke is, call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.
