Day two of this three day weekend and new rules in place at the Kaneohe sandbar seem to be working.
On Saturday there were no alcohol citations handed out.
The Land Board put the new rules in place in response to binge drinking, drug use and violence at the sandbar.
Over a dozen DLNR officers are patrolling the Heeia Kea Small Boat Harbor this three day weekend.
