Thousands of university and private school students are heading back to school Monday.
Public schools started earlier this month, but transportation officials say starting Monday morning, traffic will especially be heavy on the freeways.
Other colleges like Hawaii Pacific University begin the new school year on September 6th.
And by then, an estimated 60,000 students will be back on the roadways.
