Crews from the Department of Transportation were busy today cleaning up under the H-1 Freeway Viaduct.
Homeless people staying in the area were told to move out over the weekend and whatever items were left behind will be cleared out during the next couple of weeks .
Some of the items that were cleared out include a make-shift structure that had a generator and a working air conditioner.
The DOT says the area is cleared every six months.
