Hit and run driver sought in critical bicycle accident

Police are looking for the driver of a light colored Toyota truck following a late night accident in Kalihi.  They say a bicycle rider was hit from behind near the Kalihi branch of the Bank of Hawaii.  A witness told police the driver fled on Kalihi Street.  Police do not have a description of the driver or a license plate number.  Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors on the part of the victim.  He was not wearing a helmet.
