Brushfire sparks in Kalama Valley


     A bit of a scare Saturday night for some Kalama Valley residents.
    
     Fire officials say no structures were threatened and no one was evacuated.
    
     The brush fire broke out just before 7:00 p.m. The nearest street is Papalalo Place. It took crews about a half hour to put out the fire.
    
        No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
