Scuba divers dies following medical emergency off Kewalo Basin

A scuba diver died Tuesday morning following a medical emergency, officials said. Emergency Medical Services said the 32-year-old was unresponsive when the charter boat “Green Dolphin” pulled into the dock at Kewalo Basin Harbor. Paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and rushed him to the hospital in critical condition. He later died. Police said the man was visiting from Japan.
