The 25th Infantry Division based at Schofield is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
To celebrate, the field formerly known as Sills Field was dedicated on Friday to General Fred Weyand.
Weyand commanded the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii, also known as Tropic Lighting, during the late 60′s and led the division into Vietnam.
This ceremony is just one of the several events happening this weekend to honor the 25th.
