Sixteen homes in Kalihi are without water after a water main broke around 10 a.m. Monday morning.
It happened on Gulick Avenue near Pacheco Street.
Crews have closed the makai-bound lane at the repair site between N. School and N. King Street while Board of Water Supply Crews work to repair a 6-inch water main.
Motorists are asked to drive with extra caution in the area.
A faucet on a hydrant has been installed to provide water for the affected homes.
