The Bishop Museum is ending a decades-long Halloween event.
For more than 20 years, the "Treat Street" Halloween festival featured costume contests, candy and other kid-friendly activities.
But the museum says it will no longer host the free event because "it no longer aligns with the institution’s role as an education center."
Officials say they will shift their focus to create new programs.
Halloween falls on the Monday this year.
