The state’s tourism industry got some positive news on Tuesday.
Airline seat capacity, measuring the number of available seats on flights to the islands, will increase by one percent during the final three months of the year.
That’s after two consecutive quarters of decreases.
Capacity from the mainland will be down by three percent while international capacity will increase by 11 percent.
The addition of new flights from Japan will increase airline seat capacity by 3.4 percent.
