Financial experts say most people spend more time planning a party than they do their financial futures.
That’s why our Action Line Department will be manned by financial experts Thursday.
Volunteers from the Financial Planning Association of Hawaii will answer questions about retirement.
"The big thing is that people think that social security is going to provide for their financial future. It was never intended to do that and it won’t, so you got to do some of your own savings or you’re going to be in trouble," says financial planner Mel Hertz.
They’ll be answering your calls Thursday morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The number to call is 591-0222.
