Gift of legal fees gets OHA trustee in hot water

The state Ethics Commission has informed Office of Hawaiian Affairs Trustee Rowena Akana that she is being investigated for accepting money to pay legal fees from Abigail Kawananakoa, a descendant of Hawaiian Royalty.
