A nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9 at 9:00 a.m. Hawaiian Standard Time.
This test should last approximately three minutes and will interrupt radio and television programming. This is only a test.
It will be run nationwide to ensure that the President of the United States can address the American public in times of emergency.
