The beautification project for the busiest transportation corridor in the entire state is complete.
Department of transportation officials unveiled the newly made-up Nimitz Highway Sunday.
The $1.2 million dollar project included more than 200 coconut and fiji fan palm trees that were planted along a 1.4 mile stretch of the highway.
The work took more than a month to complete, and was done in-time for the APEC summit.
