Hawaiian Telcom allowed to return to work after strike

Hawaiian Telcom union employees will end their strike at 8 p.m. Friday.

The company says employees will be allowed to return to work, saying it is in the best interest of customers.

IBEW 1357 workers at Hawaiian Telcom were upset over being asked to co-pay for health insurance.

IBEW 1357 represents more than 700 of the employees.
