Police are searching for a patient who escaped from the Hawaii State Hospital on Thursday.
Police say 30-year-old Robert Pacheco escaped from the Kaneohe facility sometime between 6:40 p.m. and 8:25 p.m. Thursday. He remains at large.
Department of Health officials did confirm that there was an "unauthorized leave" from the hospital, but did not provide any further details.
