On Friday, leaders from various countries including Australia and Russia arrived in Honolulu.
World leaders will be meeting this weekend to discuss trade and jobs during the summit, hosted by President Obama.
The president’s main objective of the conference is to establish a Pacific-wide free-trade zone that is now being negotiated by the U.S. and eight smaller countries.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke at the Hawaii Convention Center on Friday.
She reinforced the importance of building alliances with Asia-Pacific countries.
"Its already been a productive few days here in Hawaii," Clinton said. "We obviously believe that the world’s strategic and economic center of gravity will be in Asia-Pacific for the 21st century."
Clinton addressed a few hundred people.
She also touched on issues like the nuclear situation in Iran, the flooding in Thailand and the on-going violence in Syria.
