Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie says he is delighted President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are back in the islands for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Abercrombie greeted the Obamas at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam Friday night.
Abercrombie says Hawaii is the anchor of the Asia Pacific region and hopes APEC will help display Hawaii’s diversity.
Abercrombie will attend President Obama’s fundraiser at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Ko Olina on Monday.
