The state say Sand Island State Recreation Area will be closed in the morning, on Wednesday November 16.
Officials say repairs to the backflow preventer water main are needed.
Division of State Parks officials hope to have the park opened by 1 p.m. Repairs are being done on Wednesday to avoid any impact to weekend campers.
