The U.S. State Department special agent accused of killing a man in Waikiki has been indicted on murder and firearms charges.
According to officials, Christopher Deedy was in Hawaii to provide protection for APEC dignitaries.
The shooting happened on Kuhio Avenue on Saturday, November 5th around 3 a.m.
Kollin Elderts, 23, died of a single gunshot to the chest.
Deedy is scheduled to make his initial appearance in court Thursday morning.
A police report filed with the court is expected to be released after the hearing.
