Dozens of people took a huge step Saturday in the fight against childhood cancer.
They walked around the Waikele Shopping Center for the first ever "Saint Jude Give Thanks Walk."
The walk was held in more than 80 cities across the nation.
The event raises funds for the Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Our Wake Up 2day anchor Jai Cunningham also participated.
Folks here raised $12,300 for the hospital.
