An autograph signing session with Manny Pacquiao that was scheduled for Sunday at the Ala Moana Hotel has been cancelled.
According to event promoter Larry Rutkowski, he decided to cancel the event on Friday after correspondence with a marketing group representing Pacquiao had stopped. Pacquiao was also scheduled to attend a ceremony in his honor before the University of Hawaii football game on Saturday, the mayor’s office announced that he would not be attending and cancelled the ceremony.
Rutkowski says that he is offering refunds to anyone who purchased tickets for the event.
