Honolulu police traffic investigators are at the scenes of two separate critical pedestrian accidents that happened about the same time.
Just over an hour ago, police were called to the intersection of Kapiolani boulevard and Kamakee street in Kakaako.
Paramedics took a man in his 50′s to the hospital in critical condition.
Kapiolani boulevard is closed in both directions between Kamakee and Pensacola.
Also around 8:45 p.m. tonight police were called to Kamehameha Highway in Kaneohe near Hawaii Pacific University.
Paramedics took a woman in her 20′s to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
Kamehameha Highway–Kaneohe bound–is closed from Pali Highway to the H-3 Interchange.
