A city employee and a driving instructor have a court hearing scheduled Tuesday afternoon on charges of fraud in connection with a driver’s licensing scam.
Court documents say 53-year-old In Chan Park and 47-year-old Paige Teruya conspired to produce fake Hawaii driver’s licenses.
Teruya is a clerk at a Honolulu driver’s licensing department.
Court documents say the licenses were given to foreign citizens who were not in the U.S. legally.
