An Ewa Beach family had its Thanksgiving holiday interrupted by a near disaster.
An SUV crashed into the garage of a home on Pohahawai Street around six o’clock Thursday night.
The homeowner is thankful that no one was hurt, and says the result could have been much worse.

The homeowner is thankful that no one was hurt, and says the result could have been much worse.
"It was only few feet from the gas line and electricals and the inside was damaged too there’s a lot of medical supplies inside," said resident Lucy Bayot.
Police told the homeowner that the driver may have been speeding and lost control.
Damage to the home is estimated at $25,000.
Three vehicles were also hit, including a brand new Infiniti.
