Several Kailua homes were being threatened by flood waters.
A water main break on Wanaao Road caused a torrent of rushing water to flood the area.
The break caused one homeowners rock wall to topple over and undermine the ground under a utility pole.

"It’s the craziest thing I ever seen the wall is done the wire came off the house, the pool is flooded, so far the house hasn’t flooded so that’s a good thing," said Wanaao Road resident John Brown.
"Gone into our backyard and it’s possible it might seep into the foundation into my room," said Ben Brown.
About 15 homes are without water at this time.
A spigot has been placed on the fire hydrant near the break.
Wanaao Road is closed between Auwinala Road and Auwina Street
There is no estimate on when repairs would be complete.
