Honolulu Police say email warnings are not from them

The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) does not issue e-mail warnings to the general public.

Information from the HPD will be relayed through official media releases, Honolulu Crimestoppers, the HPD Facebook site, and Nixle text and email notifications.
