Here is a list of some of the parades on Saturday:
AIEA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS PARADE: 8:30 a.m.- Noon. The event is expected to have 200 marchers, 10 vehicles, & 2 bands. It will start at Pearlridge Elem School Parking lot , to Moanalua Rd., to Kaamilo St., to Ulune St., to Halewiliko St., to end at Aiea Sugar Mill Site.
WAIMANALO CHRISTMAS PARADE: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event is expected to have 110 marchers, 20 vehicles, 6 floats & 3 bands. It will start at Waimanalo District Park, to Hihimanu St., to Kumuhau St., to Humuniki St., to Kalanianaole Hwy., end at Waimanalo Beach Park.
GENTRY WAIPIO COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS PARADE: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The event is expected to have 800 marchers, 13 vehicles, & 1 band. It will start at Gentry Waipio SC, to Waipio Uka St., Ukee St., to Ka Uka Blvd., to Waipio Uka St., to end at Gentry Waipio SC.
WAIPAHU CHRISTMAS PARADE: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. The event is expected to have 10 vehicles. It will start at Waipahu District Park at Paiwa St., to Farrington Hwy., to Pupukahi St., to Waipahu St., to Leoku St., to end at Leolua St. behind Waipahu Town Center.
MANOA COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARADE: 5 p.m.-7 p.m. The event is expected to have 1,100 marchers, 10 vehicles, & 4 bands. It will start at Noelani Elementary School., to Woodlawn Dr, to East Manoa Rd., to Lowrey Ave., to Manoa Rd., and finish at Manoa District Park.
WEST OAHU HOLIDAY ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE: 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The event is expected to have 25 vehicles & 3 floats. It will start at Kapolei Fairgrounds at Kealanani Ave., to Farrington Hwy., to Kamokila Blvd., left into Uluohia St. and finish at Kapolei Hale.
CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE: 5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The event starts at Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor, boats decorated for the holidays will make their way to Honolulu Harbor, passing Aloha Tower Marketplace. Marines will be on hand at Aloha Tower Marketplace to accept donations for the Toys for Tots toy drive.
