A wind advisory is effect for the islands of Oahu and Lanai until 6 a.m. Monday.
According to the National Weather Service, strong northeast and east winds may persist through the night. Average wind speeds will be between 20 to 30 miles per hour with some stronger gusts.
The strong winds may result in flying debris and hazardous driving conditions.
Secure loose objects that may be picked up by the wind. High profile vehicles should slow down and use extra caution in these high winds.
