Fire investigators say an early morning car fire in Makaha was intentionally set.
The blaze started on a 2010 Camaro and spread to a carport.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames from extending to the home.
A man and his pet dog managed to escape without injuries.
The case was turned over to the Honolulu Police Department.
