Passenger arrested trying to board Hawaii-bound plane with a gun

Transportation security agents at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport arrested a man Wednesday morning, after they discovered a 9-mm Glock in his carry-on bag.

The man was headed to Kailua-Kona on the Big Island.  He was arrested and faces state charges.

A second incident occurred this morning, when a .22-caliber Beretta Model 21A firearm loaded with eight rounds of ammunition – including one in the chamber – was found in the carry-on bag of a man headed to San Francisco.  He was arrested by police and also faces state charges.
