Two men were arrested after a noise complaint led to an assault on a police officer early Friday morning in Nanakuli.
Police say three men were playing loud music in a public area. When an officer issued a warning to the men, he spotted one of them opening a beer.
Police say the second man shoved the officer while the one with the beer ran off.
While the 27-year-old man was being arrested for resisting arrest, the third man punched the officer in the head.
That 36-year-old suspect was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
The officer was treated at the hospital and released.
