A couple of traffic alerts for drivers.
The westbound center lane of the H-1 freeway will close between the Kilauea Avenue off-ramp to the King Street off ramp at 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
The closures will last until 6 p.m. They’ll start back up Sunday at 7 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m..
Department of Transportation crews will be out there for pavement maintenance.
Also, if you’re planning to head into town from the Windward side, don’t plan on taking the Likelike Highway.
It will close at 7 p.m. Saturday between Kahekili Highway and Valley View Drive.
Crews are cleaning the tunnel. The work should be done by 7 a.m. Sunday.
Drivers can take the Pali Highway or H-3 freeway instead.
