Honolulu police investigating two stabbing cases

Honolulu police are investigating two stabbing cases.

The first happened in Kalihi just before midnight Friday. Police say two men, ages 48 and 37 got into a fight.

The 37 year-old man then stabbed the 48 year-old five times.

EMS officials say the victim was taken to the Queens Medical Center in serious condition.

The suspect was arrested, then released pending investigation.

Police are also investigating another stabbing case. It happened ten minutes before midnight Friday.

Police say three men got into an argument at a function in the Pearl Harbor area.

The argument escalated, and one of the men was stabbed in the upper torso.

Police say he was 58 years-old. He was taken to the Queens Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The two suspects fled the scene. No arrests have been made. If you have any information on this case call police.
