After blazing his way into the weekend for the 3rd time in a four-career PGA tour Sony Open starts, Moanalua High School graduate Tadd Fujikawa, who was the very last entrant into the field cashed-in on pay day at Waialae.
Two-time Mid Pacific Open champion entered round-4 at minus-4 for the week and the last-minute sponsor-exemption opened his Sunday-card with 6-straight pars before connecting for birdie on 3 of his next 4-holes.
Fujikawa would stay even the rest of the way, calling it a week with a par-putt on number-18 before a strong-gallery of fans.
Final-round 3-under-67 takes Tadd to minus-7 for the week in a tie for a career-best 19th-place-finish earning a much-deserved check worth $69,000.
