Kokua Line: Isle weed found in Kaneohe poses no threat to waterway

Question: We enjoy driving and hiking through Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, which was designed and built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide flood protection for Kaneohe. Over the past year, I have noticed a strange plant that is filling and choking the canal that comes out of the reservoir.
