A Hawaii Island man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl.
Police say Ezekial Wakinekona of Kamuela was caring for the child.
She was found unconscious Friday night and was taken to the hospital where doctors found suspicious bruising.
The girl was flown to an Oahu hospital where she died Sunday.
In addition to manslaughter, he was also charged with abuse.
His bail was set at $60,000.
A two-year-old and a six-year-old who were also living with Wakinekona were taken into protective custody.
