The first gambling related measure of the 2012 legislative session has been introduced in the State Senate.
The measure introduced by Donna Mercado Kim would allow gambling and video poker machines in Honolulu hotels.
However, only hotel guests would be allowed to play.
The machines would also be allowed at the Honolulu Airport.
Revenue from the machines would go to the state for education and human services.
The measure has been referred to committee.
